Granborough war memorial conservation

Granborough parish council have commissioned important stone conservation works to the war memorial at St Johns church with funding assistance from the War Memorial Trust. Inspire Conservation have now completed the work which included stone cleaning, lime re-pointing, french drain around the monument base and selective pinning repairs and stone replacement. These treatments will ensure the survival of this communal feature for future generations to appreciate.

Granborough Parish Council are responsible for a War Memorial which had fallen into a state of disrepair.  The War Memorial Trust had agreed to part fund the restoration of the Memorial, but the funding was conditional.
